Page Hamilton
Portland-born guitarist Page Hamilton studied jazz guitar in at the Manhattan School of Music before forming his influential alternative metal / noise rock band Helmet. The band has released multiple albums, including their Grammy-nominated Meantime, which was certified gold by the RIAA. Outside Helmet, Page Hamilton has composed music for films like Heat and Catwoman, and contributed songs to movies such as The Crow and Underworld. He has also worked as a record producer.
Hamilton was lead guitarist for David Bowie's Hours Tour and has collaborated with both avant-garde and jazz musicians over the years. He performs with two of his own jazz groups, the Page Hamilon Quintent and the Jazz Wannabes duo with Anthony Truglio.
What Equipment Does Page Hamilton Use? For live performances, Page Hamilton uses a Fryette Pittbull Ultra-Lead into a Fryette Fatbottom 4x12 cabinet. In the studio, he uses the Fryette Valvulator GP/DI.
