Das Space Pulsar ist ein Sidechainer-Pedal - Ein Effekt, der das Signal Ihres Instruments jedes Mal unterdrückt wenn es einen Trigger erhält und der in der Lage ist, tiefe Räume in Ihren Klang zu bringen!Es ist ein Effekt, der auf vielen Aufnahmen zu hören ist, oft auf subtile Weise - wie z.B. wenn eine Rock-Rhythmusgitarre oder eine Bassgitarre mit der Bassdrum verbinden, so dass jedes Mal, wenn die Bassdrum schlägt, die Lautstärke der Gitarre für diesen Moment leicht abfällt - was einen wirklich starken Gesamteffekt ergibt... Die Gitarre klingt pumpend oder federnd! Es kann auch dazu verwendet werden, um das Gitarre-Signal mit jedem Bassdrum-Schlag komplett verschwinden zu lassen. Alles, worüber wir sprechen, ist die Änderung der Lautstärke. Das Deep Space Pulsar wird mit einem Mikrofon geliefert; legen Sie es in die Bassdrum Ihres Schlagzeugers, schließen Sie es an das obere Ende des Pedals an und schon können Sie loslegen! Bedienung:Der 'Dip'-Regler stellt die Stärke des Signal-Einfalls, 'Rel' regelt die Geschwindigkeit der Signal-Auslösung, d.h., wie schnell der Ton wieder ansteigt, und 'Vol' regelt die Lautstärke. Das Pedal kann ziemlich laut werden, was den Verlust des Gesamtpegels aufgrund des Pulsieren mehr als ausgleicht. Die LED-Anzeige dient als visuelle Anzeige für das Ausmaß und die Dauer der Pulsierung.Tap-Tempo:Wenn Sie anstatt des Mikrofon den Igor-Controller anschließen, verfügt der Deep Space Pulsar über eine Tap Tempo-Funktion, die auch dann funktioniert, wenn Sie mit einem DJ oder Drumcomputer spielen. Durch zweimaliges Drücken des Igor wird ein Tempo programmiert (die "Aufnahme"-LED leuchtet auf, um anzuzeigen, dass das Tempo aufgenommen wird und auf das zweite Drücken wartet). Das Tempo kann jederzeit angepasst werden um es wieder mit der Musik in Einklang zu bringen sodass das Pulsieren über lange Zeiträume im Takt bleibt. Wenn Sie 1 Sekunde lang auf Igor drücken, wird das Tempo gelöscht, so dass Sie mit einem anderen Tempo neu beginnen können.Oder alternativ triggern Sie ihn aus einer Gate-Signalspannung! Dazu wird ein Monokabel benötigt und jeder Spannungssprung erzeugt einen "Puls" im Pedal (wie bei einem einzelnen Bassdrum-Schlag).Drucktastenschalter:Es gibt einen 'Pad'-Knopf um die Empfindlichkeit des Mikrofons zu verändern sowie einen 'Inv'-Knopf, der den gesamten Effekt umzukehrt. Es ist kein Ton zu hören bis die Bassdrum (oder das Tap-Tempo) aufschlägt und ein Signalimpuls durchgelassen wird.
