We wind these Lindy Fralin Jazz Bass Replacements to 60’s specifications, using top-of-the-line materials to give you a clear, open tone: all across the board. Our manufacturing process allows us to achieve unparalleled quality control.These 5-String Jazz Bass Pickups consist of local fiberboard and USA-Made Magnets. We wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. Each pickup is wound using our proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Lindy Fralin Strat Real '54 - Set Parchment

Real ’54s are true to the original 50’s specifications of Fender Stratocaster pickups. These pickups are for those looking for true ’50s sound for their Stratocaster. Real ’54s are like Vintage Hots in the way we wind them, but we use AlNiCo III magnets instead of AlNiCo V’s. This gives Real ’54s a brighter, more delicate tone. Also, players can get the pickup close to the strings without the pickup pulling the strings out of tune. Real ’54s are great for anyone looking to balance out a dark-sounding guitar.Lindy's Strat pickups are exact copies of the Fender pickups of the late 50s, early 60s. The pickups sound very open and lively. They support the sound spectrum of your guitar without robbing it of its characteristics, even in combination with high-gain amplifier circuits. Like all Fralin pickups they are hand wound. You use the same high quality materials as back then.However, there are some small improvements:The individual pickups are wound specifically for the corresponding position (bridge - middle - neck). Therefore you get a very balanced volume balance.The middle pickup is wound with "reverse polarity", which suppresses the usual hum problem of single coils.All Fralin pickups are much better waxed than the old Fender pickups.
