The DVC-18 is a micro-sized voltage converter unit.Simply plug a 9V power source into the input, and the DVC-18 will output up to 100mA of clean 18V power. Many pedals are compatible with an 18V power supply, in some cases the higher voltage results in greater headroom or more total volume output.Consult with the manufacturer for each pedal you wish to power with the DVC-18, Disaster Area Designs will not be held liable for any damage that may result from an overvoltage condition.The DVC-18 normally doubles the input voltage. A 9V input will result in an 18V output, while a 12V input will produce a 24V output.The DVC-18 is also available with a lower-voltage regulated output (12V or 15V versions.) Running your pedals from batteries improves tone and reduces noise.  The Kingtone Battery Box connects your batteries to your pedals with no components in-between, just battery directly connected to the pedal. Most other battery boxes use diodes or transistors to switch the batteries on and off, we use relays so there is no loss of voltage or tone. You no longer have to worry about unplugging your pedals to save batteries, the batteries are automatically connected and disconnected when you power up, or power down your pedalboard. Red and White LEDs clearly show when a battery is full or running low. The batteries can be changed in as little as 3 seconds, just pull the old one out and pop the new one in, no screws, no lids, no hassle. The battery box is fully isolated so you can mix and match positive ground pedals with negative ground pedals.
