Weehbo JMP Drive

The JMP DRIVE is a discrete overdrive/distortion with a British character. Its distortion level ranges from semi-clean to modern rockboards, making it very versatile. The maximum degree of distortion can be adjusted inside with a trim potentiometer.

Due to the special electronic circuitry, the JMP DRIVE reacts very dynamically to the guitar signal, and the degree of distortion can only be controlled by the velocity alone. Furthermore, the overdrive "hangs" very well on the guitar volume knob and also gets along wonderfully with other overdrives (or with an already distorting amp in the crunch channel).

The tone control is an active 3-band control with additional MIDS switch. This determines the working range of the MIDDLE control, from low midrange to high midrange. The tone control works very efficiently, small changes of the knobs usually cause very big sound changes.

Control options:

• GAIN - determines the degree of distortion, from semi-clean to British high gain

• BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE - active 3-band tone control, for up/down of the respective frequency bands, center position of the MIDDLE control corresponds to neutral midrange can be used together with the MIDS switch for drastic sound changes

• LEVEL - determines the overall volume

• MIDS - determines the center frequency of the MIDDLE controller: low center (middle), middle (left), high center (right)
