The Fryette 2902S power amp is a stereo power amp with wide open dynamics, powerful low-end response and road-tested reliability.
Using the same circuit design as the renowned Twenty One Fifty power amp (used by Mick Mars of Motley Crue and Dean DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots), the Two/Ninety/Two produces more than 90 watts per channel with four premium Kt88 power amp tubes tuned to each other.
Soundwise the Two/Ninety/Two combines the rich harmonic overtone behaviour of a classic EL34 amplifier with the clarity and pressure in the lower midrange of a 6L6. In low power mode, the Two/Ninety/Two effortlessly delivers 60 watts per channel to a 4, 8 or 16 ohm load. The low power mode allows maximum power saturation of the amplifier at low fan speed, ideal for studio recording where quiet fan operation is essential. No other power amp on the market offers as much harmonic balance, wide open dynamic output and powerful bottom-end behavior.
Voicing switches determine the frequency response of the power amplifier (guitar cabinet or FRFR system) for each channel
