The Greer Amp Pork and Beans is a contemporary version of the legendary Rangemaster Treble Booster.
In the 60's, the Treble-Booster was the only way to blow an amp for distortion sounds besides the fuzz pedals. Prominent users of the Rangemaster were Rory Gallagher, Brian May, Mark Bolan etc.
The Pork n Beans pedal uses a NOS germanium transistor to reproduce the authentic treble booster sound. Treble Booster can be controlled with the volume pot of the guitar.
If you turn the volume knob back, the sound becomes glassy and clean, if you turn the knob up, the amp is blown violently. The Pork n Beans Booster offers a classic treble boost as well as a mid boost version, which will "blow up" thin sounding amps.
