The Harmonic Antagonizer is not a traditional fuzz box. There is no reverence here for the tradition of the 1960s. No germanium transistors. No NOS carbon film resistors.
If you think fuzz should be smooth, or warm, or velvety ... or polite, then this is not for you. The Harmonic Antagonizer is a cold, heartless sound butcher.
The Harmonic Antagonizer is a machine that generates fuzz, oscillators and sounds, as well as a variety of obscure sounds from around the world.
The fuzz circuit constantly pushes and pulls the oscillator to related frequencies.
Envelope and manual control of the oscillator frequency for a wide range of sounds.
For use with electric guitar, bass, drum computer, grooveboxes, or just about anything that makes a sound
Sustain - Set higher for longer sustain. This is not a distortion or fuzz control. The effect is always distorted, fuzzy and square. The sound will fade out as the notes decay.
Fade - Adjusts the mix of fuzz and oscillator circuits. Turn to the left for square wave fuzz. Turn to the right for more oscillator.
Freq. - Manually adjust the frequency of the oscillator.
Sense - Envelope control of the oscillator. When turned to the right, Put drives the oscillator to higher frequencies.
Volume - Adjusts the overall output level.
