The M3 Guitar Synthesizer is based on the Korg MS-20 and produces the sounds of monophonic synthesizers of the 70s.
Instead of two oscillators, the M3 uses three digitally controlled oscillators for super-fat synthesizer sounds that never get out of tune.
Eleven oscillator combinations cover string sounds, analog basses, chimes, fifths and more. The eleven settings of the algorithm knob further shape the sound and control everything from the filter, two envelope generators, LFOs, portamento and more.
In the 70s, some of the most iconic synthesizers of all time were created. We put the essence of those analog mono synths into M3. Don't be fooled by the simplified controls. The M3 has the following features:
Three oscillators
Three LFOs (PWM & pitch for each oscillator and the filter)
Two envelope generators. (Filter & AMP)
Voltage controlled analog resonance filters.
Voltage controlled amplifier
Essentially, the M3 has 121 customizable patches. With the oscillator control you can choose between eleven oscillator combinations. The Algorithm control is used to select filter, amplifier and LFO settings.
The Parameter knob allows you to change each algorithm in different ways.
Control options:
Oscillators: With this control (A-K) you can choose between 11 different oscillators
Algorithms: This controls everything else. Filter and amp envelope, LFOs, portamento, pitch, filters, etc.
The parameter knob is used to change further detailed settings.
Volume: Controls the output volume
Resonance: Controls the resonance of the filter
