Weehbo - Plexdrive V 1.0

The PLEXDRIVE is a low gain overdrive. It impresses above all with its transparent, powerful and warm sound as well as its wide dynamic range, as you have only heard from big tube amps like the legendary Plexi.

With the GAIN switch two different distortion levels can be selected, the maximum distortion level in MORE position corresponds approximately to the distortion of a ripped Plexi. This makes it possible to achieve the popular power amp distortion and power amp feeling of the Plexi even at low volumes.

The INPUT, TONE and PRESENCE controls allow you to shape and adjust the basic sound of the PLEXDRIVE. All controls affect both the frequency response of the overdrive and the degree of distortion.

The booster has enormous volume reserves and processes the signal with freshness, while at higher settings it compresses very harmonically.

• INPUT - controls the input impedance and the bass components

• DRIVE - determines the degree of distortion, low gain overdrive

• TONE, PRESENCE - Treble iris, controls the mid-range

• LEVEL - determines the overall volume

• BOOST - determines the volume of the booster

• GAIN - determines the maximum degree of strain, selectable between LESS and MORE

• DYNAMIC - internal operating voltage: 9V (left), 18V (right)

• BOOSTER - activates the booster, independently switchable
