The BASTARD is a dynamic medium to high gain distortion. Due to its complex circuit structure, the device is able to reproduce very modern and brute distortion sounds precisely.

He's mainly used in modern styles where, despite a high degree of distortion, transparency, dynamics and a fast attack on the one hand, but on the other hand, above all, a powerful overall sound is required.

The active 3-band tone control supports the guitarist uncompromisingly in his search for the desired sound, as it works very effectively and can process wide ranges of the frequency spectrum. Thus, in addition to the rather classic mid and high-frequency settings, midscooped sounds are also possible, for example, which are an important part of modern genres.

With the help of the toggle switch it is possible to choose between a modern, mid- and high-range or a classic, rough and overcast voicing.

Control options:

• GAIN - determines the degree of distortion, rich and powerful sound from medium to high gain distortion

• BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE - active 3-band tone control to raise or lower the bass, midrange and treble

• LEVEL - determines the overall volume

• VOICE - determines the basic sound; selectable between modern mid- and high-range sound or classic, rough voicing
