For most bassists, no explanation is needed about Troy Sanders, the bassist of the band Mastodon.

His angular riffs, his thick rhythms and his massive sound are a constant throughout the whole duration of Mastodon's existence.

When it comes to his distortion, his weapon of choice since 2010 is the "Tall Font Russian" by Wren and Cuff.

Troy likes a simple and effective setup so he can concentrate on the important things like playing his instrument and singing as the lead singer of the band.

Now Wren and Cuff has created a Troy Sanders signature version of this padal with the Elephant Skin.

This version has been enhanced by an additional foot-operated gain stage, which is a kind of muff to 11!
