The Octane 3 is reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix, who revolutionized the world of guitarists with crazy fuzz sounds in the late 60s. But you don't necessarily have to be a hippie to love the Z.Vex Octane 3. The circuit uses a combination of germanium diodes and transistors as well as a ring modulator to turn simple chords into crazy note variations and complex chords into incredible sounds - and it lets solos go crazy! This unusual octave pedal was the first creation of the Z.Vex mastermind Zacharey Vex.
