Vintage Hot electric guitar pickups sound like a Stratocaster should. They are our best selling set, and have the most vintage sound. Vintage Hots sound open and airy with lots of sparkle on top. Lindy's Strat pickups are exact copies of the Fender pickups of the late 50s, early 60s. The pickups sound very open and lively. They support the sound spectrum of your guitar without robbing it of its characteristics, even in combination with high-gain amplifier circuits. Like all Fralin pickups they are hand wound. You use the same high quality materials as back then.

However, there are some small improvements:

• The individual pickups are wound specifically for the corresponding position (bridge - middle - neck). Therefore you get a very balanced volume balance.

• The middle pickup is wound with "reverse polarity", which suppresses the usual hum problem of single coils.

• All Fralin pickups are much better waxed than the old Fender pickups. Therefore they don't whistle, even at higher volume.
